Dog Clock
My child fell in love with the clock made out of the platter, and wanted it for her room. I talked her into letting me make her a special clock with dogs on it. She rolled her eyes but finally agreed. This is the first attempt, and I while I am not 100% satisfied with it, and have figured out a way to refine the next one, but that will require a trip to the supply store, which is currently closed, I think she will like it.
I used Citra Geographic paper as the background and then used stencils to create the dogs. I think it blends well, but need to come up with better stencils. I am not crazy with how these turned out.

Citra Geographic Clock
Citra Solv Color Contest
Did you think I got lost in the art store again?
Nope, just been dealing with a case of pneumonia, which has left me with no energy at all to work on the art.
However, I have a few pieces of the Citra Solv art I wanted to put up here. I have even entered a couple in a contest, so keep your fingers crossed.
As you know, I have been trying to come up with a way to incorporated the Citra Solv technique into the refurbished furniture pieces, and hope to have the butterfly coffee table finished this week. Well, the artist brain being what it is, has now led me down yet another Citra Geographic path. (How do you like the new name for the process... I just made it up)
I went into Goodwill today and found a platter that I want to use with the Citra Geographic paper and then turn the whole thing into a working clock!? Maybe it will work, maybe not, but I am going to give it a helluva try.
I also found two small wooden stools that are going to blow your socks off once I am done with them. I will wait and surprise you with what I am going to do!
Anyway, I need to get a breathing treatment over, so I am going to close now and leave you with some images.... Hope you enjoy!
